I read a lot of reviews indicating that the item simply doesn't have a pulse or work at all. It does... you just have to find the right spot on your hand (or whatever) to apply it. Once you've found that spot, I found that the jolts of electrical current it do work well... there are adjustments if its too strong or not strong enough. The problem I had is keeping it there. Once I found the spot on my hand (which was near my thumb) I felt the current, and it did relax me for about a minute. Or maybe I was just choosing to focus on that pulse, but it required some effort to keep it in that spot. The rubber band was a little tight for my wrist, but even if it did fit... I fail to see how I could keep it in the right spot and fall asleep. As soon as you relax your hand, the pulse is gone. So to summarize, it works... but at a cost. And the difficulty to keep it where it needs to be negates the positive uses it can bring. I'm not done trying to make it work... cause I dropped $ on this item.
