Review: Universal - yeah right - I've bought two of these speakers, bot 6x8 and 6x9 after seeing in the product picture that the speakers come with some sort of mounting plate - well it doesn't. They come with the regular moounting point you'd expect on any speaker, so any chance of fitting them on non standard mount is zero. Shame, they look decent quality but the products don't look at all like the pictures

They seem to have gotten a lot of flack lately but to be honest, there is nothing wrong with anything Pyle makes now or has ever made. I own several Pyle model electronics. These 6x9 speakers are extremely well designed and offer comparable sound even with other top brands. But it's the price difference that is the icing on the cake. Unless you're in a studio, requiring precise sound, these are wonderful replacements for any car/truck/suv stereo system, with power to spare. Highly recommended!

I've bought two of these speakers, bot 6x8 and 6x9 after seeing in the product picture that the speakers come with some sort of mounting plate - well it doesn't. They come with the regular moounting point you'd expect on any speaker, so any chance of fitting them on non standard mount is zero. Shame, they look decent quality but the products don't look at all like the pictures

I own several Pyle model electronics. These 6x9 speakers are extremely well designed and offer comparable sound even with other top brands. But it's the price difference that is the icing on the cake. Unless you're in a studio, requiring precise sound, these are wonderful replacements for any car/truck/suv stereo system, with power to spare. Highly recommended!
