It is adjustable to 3 different heights, the tallest being 28 inches and the hardest to find. The table area is bigger than any snack tables I had seen but not so big that it took up too much space. This one is perfect. I can use my sewing machine comfortably on this table. I can work with books and writing papers. There is even enough room for the cat to spread out on the table to keep my company while I work.Although it is said to be white, I will say that it is not a pure white. It's a teeny bit fussy to adjust, but that's likely user dependent (small hands) and is not at all worthy of a complaint. I like that the legs are designed so that it can slip under things and easily tucks under the edge of the couch to be used like a small desk.
