He tried several brands of acetaminophen (Tylenol) so here is our cumulative review: generic grape: nasty grape flavor CVS cherry: burns, nasty but better than grape desertcart: the same as CVS Genexa blueberry: tolerable and much better flavor, but very sweet Little Remedies berry: less sweet than Genexa. Major cherry: less sweet, and actually a little more bitter. Of these cough syrups, it was a close tie between Little Remedies and the Major cherry, but Little Remedies edged it out for the win! For my husband's condition, he had a raw throat from the nasogastric tube, sutures, and open mouth wounds, so the strong sugars burned his mouth. He did try all of them to see if he could tolerate, but most of them I had to dilute 1:1. The only one I did not need to dilute was Little Remedies. If I had to pick a syrup for myself, I would go for the Genexa blueberry, because I like the flavor and sugar more.
