The belts are a bit on the stiff side and will break in with use BUT I have fat thumbs and fingers while blessed with little patience to break it in through use. I also have some arthritis in my fingers and sometimes they don't quite move how I wish them to. I cut a small section of pencil, a little short of the width of the belt, stuck it in the pocket between the two rollers and did some thumb cardio rolling it around and around. About 5 minutes of this the belt became pretty pliable and easily used. Much easier for me to use. Review: Works great! Makes rolling so much easier.
