I was a bit leary of the disks rubber structure, as it looked a bit to aggressive and might burn the granite or leave swirl marks, Not so if used with patience and LOTS OF WATER. Combined with a light pressure ! You can save yourself a considerable amount of money with this assortment in repairing minor scratches and such. Just take it easy, Check your work area often to see how things are doing, and how the light is being reflected. Messy it is, no getting around that. Keep in mind that the moment of the grinding wheel should NEVER stop being moved about, or you'll have a donut hole. You have diamonds at work here ! I think the adapter plate is a must also. Though it is a bit of a problem getting the grinding pads centered right to minimize vibration. Otherwise, a thumbs up to the company.
