But I cannot see why it wouldn't work on salon shears.Sorry I don't have a better answer. **Q: Does this jig also work on the T8 sharpener?** A: Yes, the SVX-150 does work on the Tormek T-8 machine. **Q: can I use this to sharpen my pet grooming scissors?** A: The Tormek Scissors jig will sharpen any scissors with excellent results with the exception of scissors made to thin hair or that are serrated.
