This is a nice piece of Kit! I own two $5.00 300 lumen Ultrafires. For the price they're great little flashlights. However, I wanted a much brighter tactical light between 500 and 1,000 lumens and I wanted it for less than $20.00. I finally found it in this Amazon Prime product!I wanted something that would do the following:(1) visibly light up a pitch black room with it's ambient light(2) be able to focus a spot up to 50 yards and actually see something at night(3) momentarily limit the night vision of a suspect(4) something short enough (important!) with a small head unit to wear on my belt or chest gear without sticking out in the way(5) have an adjustable focus and not a fixed lens(6) use only one rechargeable battery (hence short) that is easily replaceable with a secondary battery(7) have a sturdy and quality looking build made of metal or lightweight aluminum(8) powder coated or an anodized finish that lasts (my $5.00 ultrafires are painted and unfortunately chip way too easily)(9) a belt clip (super important!), and...(10) a tactical head unit with sharp edged protrusions to manipulate or strike an attacker if absolutely necessaryI know, I know, it's a long wish list and almost impossible to find. Most flashlights that meet just some of the above criteria run $70.00 or more. This flashlight fulfills every single one of the ten on my wish list and does it for LESS THAN $20.00. To get the flashlight, the charger, and batteries at this price is unbeatable in my opinion. Trust me I've looked.To confirm, the flashlight does have the Cree XML T6 LED, the bronze metal reflector plate for heat dissipation, the thicker more robust lens, the orange clicky tailcap (not the bright green knockoff one), and the 5 modes.Bottom line, you have to feel the build quality and finish of this tactical light in your hand to understand how nice it is! If I'm wrong about my review of this light then leave me a comment. I'm suspect that you'll love it as well and that I won't get too many comments. Both sets are just fine, no problems found at all.Both changers work fine and the batteries arrived with about 3/4 charge already on them.All features and functions of both flashlights work just as advertised. They do not have "memory"... that is to say when you do a full click to turn the light off ( half-click will switch modes ) it will be on the next mode when you turn the light back on.As far as brightness, well if your new to Cree LED flashlights you will indeed be impressed with the amount of light you get here.
