A: I rinse out all the "chunks" of rice and starch that's stuck in the net then boil it for a few minutes before hanging it to dry. But if you just immediately dry it it after use it should be fine if you rinsed out the rice and starch.

**Q: How much heat does it withstand? Can I put it in the boiling pot?**
A: Oh yeah, boiling is how you clean it.

Put your uncooked rice in the cloth (after boiling once to clean it) put the rice plus cloth in boiling water then use the cloth to lift the rice out of the boiling water when the rice is cooked.

Also works great for pasta.

**Q: will the grain of rice fall through the small holes?**
A: No
