Came quickly and as described.
Used for various electronics and making my own 3.5mm stereo cables. Product obviously contains silver as it is quite stiff and bright colored compared to regular solder of the same diameter. Even though it has rosin core I found that using solder paste made it stick and flow better. Would recommend 👌

Turns soldering from a chore to a dream
I used to hate soldering before I understood that there was such a difference between different solder. After a bit of research, I heard that the best solder was Kester. Unfortunately they don't seem to sell in the UK, and when you can find it in the UK to buy, it's ridiculously expensive. However another name that kept popping up was MG Chemicals, especially SAC305 solder. Decent price on Amazon considering how much you get and how much it supposedly improves things.I'm currently building a Retro Chip Tester and started off using my cheapo Chinese solder that's about a fiver a reel, and even with a brand new KSGER type T12 iron, it was still ridiculous. I had to use almost 400 degree heat, which burnt the flux, caused the solder to spit when it did melt, and everything was just horrible.Trying this SAC305 solder on the other hand, I can now solder almost as quickly as those experts you see on YouTube, just whizzing through things. Guides I read just said "never touch solder to the tip of your iron directly, do it through the component leg", I scoffed at. If I didn't put it directly on the iron, it didn't melt at all.But again, with the MG Chemicals SAC305 type, I CAN do that, and now I completely understand what they mean. Honestly, it's night and day, and granted, I've essentially gone from the worst kind of solder to one of the ones consistently in the top three recommended, so you may not experience such an impact if your current solder is even average quality, but man, I can't get over it.I'm actually cramming work in so I can get away a bit early to get into my garage and solder a few more things. I really enjoy it now, it's turned from a horrible chore, a means to an end, to actually being fun and pretty therapeutic. I've attached a pic of the project I'm working on now, and have almost finished it. I'll be disappointed when it's done, so I'll have to work on finding more things to solder!

I need more testing but...
..I dont get any shiny joints yet, although the solder is awesome to work with. I will test it more and hope the outcome changes

Consistent, easy lead-free solder
Wets consistently and with virtually no splatter. Very easy to use as lead-free solders go. Highly recommend.
