Review: Best shocks! - I'll start by saying that I have a 2019 F150 single cab with the 5.0L, it's 4x4 but I've done the reverse level using the Ford Performance drop shackles and I also did the rear axle block delete. Because of this, my trucks rear end sits lower. I called Bilstein and they told me to measure my eyelet to eyelet length of my factory shocks at ride height, which measured approximately 21.625" These shocks have an extended length of 27.93" and a compressed length of 16.97" which means the mid point of this shock is 22.45" which is less than 1" of a difference from where my factory shocks sit at ride height. Bilstein also advised me that the 4wd shocks (33-253190) have slightly different valving in them. Because of this valving tweak, they would be even firmer, and may cause the rear end to sit slightly higher, which I didn't really want considering I have a single cab. With all that being said, install was easy using an impact and a box end wrench. I'd recommend 18mm and 15mm wrenchs and sockets. I did this in my driveway, and although I had to jack my truck up by the trailer hitch so I could get the shocks into the axle mount, you DO NOT want to install these on a hoist, or with the truck jacked up. This is because the angle of the shock changes when the truck is lowered, and you put additional stresses on the bushings. After they were installed and the hardware was finger tight, I lowered the truck down to ride height, tightened the hardware, then torqued everything down to 66lbs-ft The difference these shocks made were instantly noticeable as soon as I reached the 1st stop sign. The rear end of the truck doesn't lift as quickly as it did before. This is the dampening effect, as the rebound is slower and more controlled. On hard acceleration, the back of the truck doesn't squat as much, and on cornering the truck overall feels more planted, as there is less body roll. The biggest difference is the reduction in wheel hop, when going over train tracks, the whole rear end would break loose sometimes and kick sideways. This has now been eliminated. I'm very happy with these shocks, and I'm glad I went with the B8 5100s! These are premium shocks. Highly recommend if you have a reverse leveled 4x4, or a 2wd that is factory height.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Upgrade
*by T***O on 2 November 2023*

This is by far the nicest upgrade ive done to my truck. Very simple to Install but night and day difference in ride quality and I no longer feel like the truck is diving into the turns. I added a camper shell on my ṭruck and tow alot. The truck rides so smooth now. I read alot about a rougher ride and I assume that was with empty with an open bed. Because even with just the shell it still rides smooth. Also the ford wheel hop is much improved worth these.
