This pineapple seemed to be an interesting diversion from their chew bones so I snagged one. First of all, it's very cute. My girls (14 lbs and 21 lbs, both young pups ~ 1 yr) were very interested. Unfortunately, the green fabricy stems were beginning to be destroyed, but not easily, they are made of tuff stuff, just my girls are annihilators. I ended up cutting off the greenery but they still love it. The sz is perfect, almost slightly too large so I wouldn't purchase this for a dog under 15 lbs. It's heavy, it's tough and best of all, it squeaks! I gave it 4 stars because the top stem wasn't as durable, but other than that, I am happy with this toy and would buy another. The pineapple body is hard enough to be durable, but soft enough to not destroy teeth.
