I have a black cutting board but surface texture makes it look gray** A: I would say it is the same color/shine of a black cook top. It is black, not gray at all, with a glass, not matte, finish. Hope that helps! **Q: Can you use a wood burner to cut on this board?** A: I personally wound not. It’s my opinion that it’s not safe. **Q: whats the cuttingboard weight not including the packaging?** A: Very lightweight but sturdy. **Q: What is the actual measurement of the thickness of the glass cutting board, is it 1/4"?** A: I don’t remember now. But it’s very thin. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous *by J***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2022* I bought it to use as a cutting board and for presentation purposes in my food videos. The new knives I bought have given it a few scratches, but more importantly it doesn’t have any ‘give/friction’ if that makes sense when cutting. It’s actually harder to cut things (veggies, meat) for normal food prep on this, but it’s gorgeous so buy it. I also have a 2 burner glass stove and it still at the same height as the glass portion which is nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Very attractive and easy to clean *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2022* Been looking for a black cutting board to go with granite counters and black appliances. This one is perfect. Attractive, and I’m amazed at how easy it is to keep clean and shiny. Used for keeping the countertops clean during cooking. It is not used for chopping since glass boards dull knife blades. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful and durable *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2023* They look wonderful. I’m using them as placemats on a black glass counter top.., very elegant and very durable!! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/259315886-tempered-black-glass-cutting-board-long-lasting-black-ink-glass](https://www.desertcart.us/products/259315886-tempered-black-glass-cutting-board-long-lasting-black-ink-glass) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
