**Q: This states not to use on unfinished hardwood floors.  How can you tell if your hardwood is unfinished?  House is 66 years old with original floors.**
A: To determine if your floors are finished, pour a small amount of water on the floor and let it sit for about 30 minutes.  If the water is absorbed into the floor, it is unfinished.  If it is still on the floor, the floor is finished.

**Q: Can this cleaner be used on waxed hardwood floors to pick up surface soil prior to buffing?**
A: No, the Weiman Hardwood Floor Cleaner is not recommended for use on waxed, oiled unfinished, or unsealed wood floors.

**Q: I have engineered hardwood floors. It's tongue-and-groove with seams between boards. Assumed not sealed. Anyone using this on this type floor?**
A: If the floor is not finished, we would not recommend using this product on it.

**Q: What are the ingredients? Does it kill germs or just remove visible dirt?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I finally found THE product for my floors

I used all sorts of different things over the years to clean my hardwood floors. Every product led to a sticky/residue kind of feeling, or left a hazy look to it when the sunlight hit, so even when they were clean they never 100% looked or felt clean due to the types of cleansers (ironically.) I was hopeful about this product, but not overly hopeful due to my experience with floor cleaners. Oh my lord, I finally found it. THE hardwood floor cleaner that doesn't leave a gross sticky residue when you walk across it, or that bad looking haze. My floors can finally feel and look completely clean at the same time. I really love that it's a squirt and mop kind of product too that makes it extra easy, especially for touchups when needed. This comes in handy especially because I have 3 dogs that junk up the floors quickly, so I don't need to live with bad floors or drag out the bucket of hot water and do a whole song and dance everytime I want to keep them looking good. I've used this on darker hardwood, lighter hardwood, and vinyl floors, and it works so well on all of them. I am SO GLAD my search stops here for the best cleaner for my wood floors. One single thing has finally gone right in life this year! lol We all have different kinds of floors, but give this one a shot.
