I use Lectin blockers with great success, and my favorite, Lectin Lock, became unavailable for about 3 months when the company changed hands. As I am one of those who seem to be quite sensitive to the effect of the undesirable lectins in grains, legumes/beans and nightshades, being without a dependable Lectin blocker was making thing difficult. The ones that have Pepsin or pepsin-like ingredients give me very bad Silent Reflux, so I looked long and hard before choosing this one. I paired it with Lectin Protect to make sure I was covered with all the ingredients that are in Lectin Lock, but this one brings several more to the table. I am happy with how it has performed overall. Now that Lectin Lock is available again, I think I'll use the two together.
