## Description

Para film Grafting Tape is Manufactured by Original Para film M Manufacturer and is an economical plant grafting solution that is easy-to-use, and makes nursery grafting and/or budding efforts efficient for various grafters (nursery, landscapers, and home gardeners). Para film Grafting Tape is Waterproof, Flexible, Stretchable, and Self-Adhering. Its Breathable properties allows gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc. to pass through, and as such offers an excellent breathable moisture barrier. The combination is perfect for grafting which requires a barrier to keep moisture in while allowing oxygen and carbon dioxide to pass through. Para film Grafting Tape is not suitable for Laboratory use or in Areas where Temperatures exceed 54°C (130°F).

Review: Good tape, that does what is expected - I bought this for grafting apple and crabapple trees and it worked as well as can be expected. It was a very windy summer and this tape held all grafts together with no failures. Pros - Flexible and stretchy enough to do the job. - Held all grafts in place with winds up to 100 kph. - Didn't require extra string or sealants to hold the grafts. Cons - Seems like it could be a little tackier, but still held well once pressed together. - Price is very steep for what it is.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used to seal petri dishes?**
A: I will assume you are referring to sealing the space between the lid and the dish. The tape is only 1/2' wide so I think you would want something a litter wider. That being said it does provide a good seal.

**Q: How many rolls for $13.30? Very confusing on descriptions! Is it 1 roll or 6 rolls or 12 rolls from the box?**
A: Only 1 roll was purchased

**Q: is this tape supposed to adhere to itself?  does it require water or something to do that?  the one i received doesn't adhere to itself.**
A: It’s not sticky like a tape- it’s wax.  You can run it together with your fingers and it will shape it together.  I think the warmer your fingers are the faster/better it would mold.

**Q: Is this really "m" type parafilm? i have never seen parafilm m sold in this width and without the paper backing.**
A: I don't know what "m" type parafilm is but I use it to wrap plants around a piece of wood or stick to hold it upright.

We have a small orchard, only 25 trees, and there are two kinds of apples, out of the 6 variety’s we have, that we really love. Enter the fun science of grafting. I’ve found that successful grafting requires some good, proven techniques and materials. This paraffin wrap works. It just does. It holds tight on the bud graft, it is waterproof, it stretches and conforms to irregularities on the branch your grating to and sticks to itself when you tear or cut it. Can’t go wrong. Give this a try and your odds of success will increase. Happy grafting!
