If you have very thin hair, then you might want to use the singlesided because that will have only one weft of hair less bulk for thinner hair. But if you have medium to thick hair double sided for sure. **Q: When you remove them and you just use about a 1/4" ... it easy take them out without it pulling your hair & w/out using anything else to take it out?** A: They are a but sticky, but if you use a liberal amount of adhesive remover you should be fine **Q: Should these be Flat ironed to secure them?** A: No heat. I don't recommend it. They stick together with the sticky side of the tape in hair side. Sandwiching them together so they are lined up together. Press them together and you may be able to push them into alignment also. Once they are together, you can lay the section down flat, then smoothing with your finger against your scalp, using firm pressure back and forth. Pressing them together is enough. It's recommended you avoid exposure to water for 2 days when using any tape in hair and single side tapes. These work pretty well. **Q: Are these really hard to remove? I’ve used another brand and even with removers it was impossible. I’m looking for an alternative** A: These tabs are horrible! Do not purchase it’s a waste of money, I have found that the Bombay brand are really good, I remove the hair with 91% alcohol , just spray a little between each weft, then once all the hair is out I use coconut oil , a bunch of it , let sit for awhile , try to comb threw and then wash several times with residue removing shampoo . Stayed in for about 7 weeks and only took them out due to hair growth. Usually it takes at least 2 hours to take them out and them clean up about 20 extensions. These took me under 45 minutes! There was no glue residue left in my hair at all and I barely had to clean off the extensions. Usually my scalp is sensitive for a day or two after removal due to all the glue residue I have to comb out but my acalw feels totally normal like I never even took them out! I'm so happy with finding these tapes but now I see amazon has them listed as currently unavailable.
