Review: I so enjoyed Bob Mould - I went to a Bob Mould concert bin Nashville. I have been enjoying his music for years, from Husker Du to Sugar to a myriad of solo albums. Finally I got to experience his current trio live. I went with a friend. On his suggestion -- and he'd played in a band professionally for years, touring and such -- I got these to protect my hearing. I so enjoyed Bob Mould. However, without these plugs, I bet I would have had some hearing loss. They allowed me to hear the very loud sounds, in much of full range, without having ringing in my ears later. When I wanted to risk it, I could adjust them in my ear to achieve more treble (and volume). I never took them out completely though. When I get even older, I'll be glad I didn't. Hearing loss does not reverse. These are great, do the job, at a reasonable price.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I already own these (and love them!) for going to concerts.  Would they also adequately protect my hearing at a NASCAR race?**
A: I found that "A NASCAR race car is measured to be about 125-130 decibels"....the Hearos earplugs reduce the decibles up to...or down to... 20 decibles, so that would be 105-110 decibles of noisen depending of seating, with the earplugs in.     Based on CDC statictics, you could listen to about 91 decibles of noise for about 2 hours, without it starting to impact hearing.  So I would recommend buying/using a stronger decible reducing earplug for the NASCAR races... good luck!

**Q: has anyone slept using these plugs?  need for sleeping.**
A: yes I wear them every night.  it is the only way my husband and I can sleep in the same room!! I am so used to them that I can't sleep without them anymore. amazing if your spouse snores  .

**Q: The listing says the nrr is 12, but it "protects up to 20 decibels." how is this possible? are they counting dba or c-weighted db?**
A: I’m really not sure, but I sat up close at an Alice In Chains concert and for once was able to enjoy the music without my hearing being assaulted.

**Q: What size are these Hearos High Fidelity ear plugs ?**
A: These are small size. If you look at the image of the package, at the top it says "1 pair small". I ordered these and they are quite small. I ordered another set in the original size because they feel too small for me.
