**Q: How tall is the pot?**
A: it is about 5 ½ " -- 6 ½" if you include the lid handle. This is a GREAT all purpose pot -- I use it ALL the time for soups, pasta, etc -- and it goes in the dishwasher. The perfect all purpose pot!

**Q: Does it come with a life-time warranty of I buy it here?**
A: Don't think it matters where you buy it, warranty comes from manufacturer, not seller.

**Q: Will the 10.5 diameter dome lid fit this pot?**
A: Yes, if that is the same lid that comes with the 5.5-qt. stainless series Dutch Oven.  I have this stockpot and the Dutch Oven; the two lids fit both pots.

**Q: Can i preheat this empty pot with the handle in the oven for 500f? i am thinking to use this as a dutch oven replacement to make sourdough bread. thx.**
A: I would contact All-Clad for the answer to that. The site says.... Oven- and broiler-safe up to 600 degrees F; I personally wouldn’t because I use a Dutch Oven. Nothing wrong with multi-purposes for a pot. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help. Good luck!
