**Q: I need an organic peat moss not a spahagnum moss, it's not necessarily  the same, is that a right product? i'd appreciate this information very much!**
A: in answer to your question peat moss and sphagnum Moss are completely different and used for different things.

**Q: can you transplant a Venus fly trap  with this pertilite**
A: Yes, this perlite is very good because it is organic and has no fertilizers that could burn the plant. Highly recommend for any carnivorous plants.

**Q: Is this free of chemicals so that i may use it for a leopard gecko egg box?**
A: It is 100% organic perlite. However the bag does say keep out of reach of children and pets. I dont think they supposed to eat it the perlite is intended for plants normally

**Q: Can be used on lemon tree**
A: yes - all you need to have done was to google  'the type of soil for lemon tree' : "Citrus need well drained soil, so selecting the right potting mix is important. Commercial potting mixes with peat moss, perlite, vermiculite and compost are fine to use as long as the soil is light enough to drain water well." - so, again.. yes. you can mix this with soil for a lemon tree.

What perlite does is stated right on the front of the bag: for "improving heavy soils." Let's say you have regular potting soil, but need cactus soil. You don't need to buy separate cactus soil because you can add some perlite to the mix in a 50/50 ratio, and it's now cactus soil. That's what improving heavy soils means, lightening and airing it up so water can flow through easily. The ratio of how you mix it depends on the needs of your plants. Do your research and give your plants the proper growing environment. Perlite is a white, lightweight, and typically formed by the hydration of obsidian (Dragonglass. Game of Thrones reference). Be careful when digging it out of the bag as it can easily blow around and out of the bag. You also want to be careful in not breathing in any crushed dust particles. This is a great product to improve existing potting soil you may have, or to create your own custom mix. Recommended.
