Not thinking that my wife would care for anything I got her that may be wooden, I started searching for things that she wanted and added "wooden" into the search. When I searched for a "wooden watch", to my dismay, I found a few options. I decided on the Tense due to its positive reviews and its relatively modest styling. When she opened the beautiful box, she was shocked and couldn't believe how "cool" it was. She will definitely be getting a lot of compliments on this watch. It looks great, is lightweight, isn't overly gaudy, and makes for an interesting conversation piece.It was a perfect gift for our anniversary. Even if she didn't wear it, it makes for a nice token... But she plans to wear it everywhere now. We just need to get a few links taken out. It looks just like the photo. It's very different from the typical gold and silver color watches on the market. It has a nice warm color and it has a very sturdy watch band made of wood. I thought I'd never be able to wear a watch again due to a nickel allergy, but when searching on the internet I found this alternative! So far I have had no allergic problems with this watch. There is a stainless steel clasp which is easy to use and has never accidentally come open. Just so you know, the back of the watch face is covered with wood too!
