Shungite in History Shungite is an ancient natural rock formation (two billion years old) that has an unusual composition and structure. It has unique properties and is only found in the Zazhoginsky deposit in Karelia. I also waved it in sage smoke and then charged it in window under sun and moon rays. I made a adjustable necklace slip knot with the cord that was sent with it. YouTube Vary happy with it and ordered another for a friend.
