I ran a label out of each and compared them closely. The black was "blacker" and the white was "whiter" on the Brother P-Touch brand than on these. As a result, these labels didn't look quite as sharp. I held back one star for this reason. But otherwise they seem the same and these cost a lot less. For my use, I probably won't buy these again. But I'm sure there are lots of applications where the slight difference in sharpness doesn't matter and the savings is more important. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Tape Yield was about 50% *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 23, 2022* Bought these a couple of years ago. It took some time to use them all. The first cartridge worked perfectly! While i was patting myself on the back for finding such a good deal, the first cartridge ran out and I put in the second. That one broke about 20% from the end...I figured, "Okay, I got most of the tape, it's still a good deal." Third cartridge broke about 1/2 way through. I opened it and fiddled with it and after losing about 10% of the tape figuring out how to work it loose and get the black part of the tape moving again, I closed up the cartridge and... It worked!...then, it ran out...Cartridge Four and Cartridge Five produced one (1) label each before they jammed an broke...Now, it has been two (2) years. It is possible there's an "age-related degradation" going on. It is also possible that the cartridges are simply of low quality and I merely got "lucky" with the first two. Since the price was, at the time of purchase, about 50% of the "name brand," I figure I got my "money's worth" -- except for the Frustration Factor -- and the fact that I thought I had five (5) cartridges of tape to use, but ended up with only two (2) worth of usable labeling. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great value *by I***. on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on March 21, 2019* I was expecting these to be sub-par for the very low price, but they have worked quite well for all my needs (spices, storage boxes, cables, etc.).
