If so, how much grit do you add per cycle?** A: Yes, it does. Use 2 Tbs. grit for every pound of rock for Steps 1 & 2. Use 1 Tbs. grit for every pound of rock for Steps 3 and 4. If you have alot of empty space in the tumbler, use the ceramic cylinders to get the tumbler to about 2/3 full. Instructions are included with the kit. **Q: Does the polish contain txp?** A: I don't think it does, and I phrase my answer that way, because after many years in the chemical business, I don't know what TXP is, and I'm unable to look it up on the Internet. The polish consists of aluminum oxide which I have never known to contain TXP. **Q: can this be used with viberating rock tumbler?** A: Yes it can. Just skip the coarse step as vibratory polishers work much faster than tumblers and will not round the rocks as well as a rotary tumbler.
