Review: Need to get more hoses - I don't think I have a big car (Nissan Rogue) and the hose is really enough to run one side to go to the cooler from the transmission. So, go get another 3-4 ft of this hose before you start the job. Also, while the hose is perfect fit on the transmission side fitting, it's super tigh and very hard to slip into the cooler side even I used some trans fluid as lubricant. The fins are not supported on the end by a frame and are only held in place by the tubes. There's plenty of room to fabricate your own mounts, or just use the big zip tie things. It was also insanely inexpensive when I bought it. ### ⭐⭐ Beware and be ready. *by B***R on 27 April 2026* It arrived as expected. I used this to replace the original that developed a hole. Probably due to a stone. Installation went as expected, not too bad, a little oily. The first issue was there were no clamps in the box, so I had to make an extra run down to the auto store. Not that big of a deal. I took the vehicle for a drive and all seemed well with no leaks. Then I took a longer drive. I got a warning light that my transmission was over heating. Needless to say, that was a little exciting, and not in a good way. I took it down to a mechanic and he did what he called a 'flow test'. His opinion was that the cooler is more than half plugged with something. What is in there we have no idea , but it's not good. I ended up buying another cooler from him and having it installed. This was obviously a defective unit. I don't believe this is something the sellers did. It's just something that happens in manufacturing sometimes.
