The paper is heavy enough to use with alcohol markers (which have a high tendency to bleed through) though I would recommend their market pad for that for the best value and quality. However when they say mixed media they mean it. The spiral binding allows you to easily work both sides of the page. The colors are vibrant and beautiful on the page and you can easily use this with a variety of mediums. Just be sure you know the medium. I don't use watercolor but I would assume it may be best to isolate the page for that as it would be wet.
