Review: Great lighter - Very good butane torch lights up first time every time
Review: Dependable - Wonderful little lighter. Use it primarily to light my zippo hand warmer set during the cold winter months. Has never let me down. Really like the clear window at the bottom to check the fuel. Also, the gas valve at the bottom has its own knob. No need for any tool. I keep mine on full blast though and never adjust it. Use it more than my other lighters bc it’s more convenient to use and is super light bc it’s made of plastic. It seems pretty durable, but I wouldn’t recommend dropping it on concrete.

Lighter would not produce a flame despite having the correct amount of butane added, in the directed manner, and despite the lighter producing a spark each time it was actuated. This was after waiting first minutes then a few hours after filling to allow the butane to warm and expand, etc. WARNING - Since the lighter wouldn't discharge the butane/gas and there is no simple and safe way to do that from the fill valve, you cannot return it for a refund. Amazon WILL process a return and give you the label through the automated return process, but you'd better not do it - it's a FEDERAL CRIME to put a filled lighter in the US mail. That's why you can't buy a prefilled lighter. I don't understand why Amazon doesn't have this on their radar. I was able to contact customer support and get a refund without having to mail the lighter back, although they said this would "be a one time thing, only." I get why, but I won't be buying any more lighters or torches through Amazon in the future.
