Buyers beware Review: Absolutely fantastic weather station. Easy to set up, including the outdoor sensor but make sure you also buy an outdoor housing for it to keep it weather proofed. Only one drawback currently is that it has what under investigation seems to be a US mains pinned plug to connect to the mains with. Afterallthistime were great with a much speedier delivery than even that estimated at ordering. They were also very prompt at answering my mains power query but in the end suggested just 2 adapter plugs, one was a standard UK adapter for plugging extra things in and the other was a EU adapter plug, which as it seems to be a US plus as per photo I sent them, wasn't a lot of help. After a final try at getting some help from them following which they stopped replying, so I purchased a US to UK power adapter, which hasn't done the trick. La Crosse is a Michigan company which I have contacted to hopefully help me as Afterallthistime don't seem to know what they are selling in detail. Lastly if La Crosse can't give me a solution I will continue to just run on batteries as it is still a great machine. So you have to turn it all the way off when sleeping making it close to useless. The manufactor really should have at least one more dim setting just above OFF. The Newentor FJ3378 I used 2 years ago is much better than this one. **Q: Whats the difference beyween this unit and the S88907** A: The S88907 has a humidity range of 1% to 99% RH. It also includes an Indoor comfort range: Too DRY (1-25%), DRY (26-39%), Comfort OK (40-75%), Wet (76-83%), Too Wet (84-99%), and a 300 foot wireless transmission range.
