This eye-catching pearl necklace is composed of funky baroque-shaped pearls that were hand selected for their unique shapes, bright white body color, and naturally high luster (they have not been lacquer coated like many discount pearls are). The pearls also exhibit strong pearl iridescence or orient, the rarest of pearl value factors. Unlike saltwater pearls, these naturally shaped freshwater pearls are not nucleated with a bead; they are solid all-nacre pearls and each one has a one-of-a-kind shape bestowed by nature! Your Savannah Cultured Pearls were painstakingly hand knotted on fine thread and finished with a rhodium-coated 925 sterling silver pearl clasp. The pearls are very large for genuine pearls and range from 8-10mm wide and up to over 13mm long; they are best suited for adult women and teenage girls. The princess length strand also makes a nice bridal or bridesmaid pearl necklace.

Honestly, the picture doesn't do this necklace justice...the pearls are huge, very well matched, and have very nice luster. The shapes are varied and go together beautifully. The necklace matches the button pearl earrings I also purchased from Savannah.
