Review: I’m using it more than I expected - It’s a really nicely made tool. The cutter is set super tight which makes it challenging to retract if you expose it more, but I’ve used it for deep scoring wood (helps with straight rip cuts) or even cutting thin kumiko strips to consistent width (couple passes and then break apart the strip)
Review: On the mark... - I build small keepsake boxes and use two of these on a regular basis. I have the more modern roller type but these give a very clean, precise cut line every time. Yes, they are a bit old school, but the design has been in use for hundreds of years. great product!!
