That said, there is space between the bottom of the spider in the inside bottom of the cup where food particles/ liquids can remain or get trapped after the cup has been used. Also, the spider, although very well-crafted, is huge, comprising almost 60% of the internal space of cup. The cup is great as a gag gift or novelty item.
