To tie legs. Not sure if they would break if you went around the whole body with the bands. I can do that with chicken, but a 20 lbs. turkey may be a problem. Consider the spool of twine they sell on this site to tie the bird up. It works well. **Q: Can they be used in a pressure cooker** A: I don't see why not. I use them over a hot grill, they wash up in the dishwasher.
