That was the first thing I cooked on the non stick copper. My 11 year old grandson, a grilled cheese maker, wanted me to talk his mom into buying one! The skillet can get a coating from cooking eggs, etc. To clean, I fill with water, 2 or 3 cups, and approx. 2 Tbs of Baking Soda, ( I never measure). I let this boil for a few minutes, then rinse with cold water and wipe gently with a paper towel. **Q: Can the "copper titanium" coating leach copper into your food?** A: There's no copper in this product. The griddle seems bigger than I thought it would be. The cooking surface is very non stick even without oil. This thing is a lifesaver. It’s not terrible to clean (fairly easy, actually). Just like with any griddle, you’ll have some hotter spots, but that’s due to the heating element and how it coils plus some heat loss as it winds its way to the end. But stays fairly consistent throughout with the hottest part being right where the cord plugs into the griddle and for about 6-8” in along the top. Knowing this will help with where to place what for best cooking. But I can cook a whole breakfast for a family of 5 on the one griddle. It will cook tons of bacon. My only complaint is the drip cup underneath should be made if something other than plastic so really hot grease doesn’t melt/warp it.
