The instructions read to insert into the 24 mm flange which resulted in no suction. Tried inserting into the 21 mm flange and the suction was great. Definitely worked much better. **Q: Which works better, the flange with the 17mm inserts or the 17mm flanges? I’m wondering if the softer material might get better results?** A: Freemie doesnt sell 17mm flanges. Their default is 25 mm. Maymom sells 17mm flanges. I had both. Liked both. Same results. Choose whichever is more convenient for you. I ended up loving the Freemie cups with the Maymom inserts. **Q: Is it compatible with Medela Swing?** A: Yes **Q: Can I insert in a 19mm cups or it’s only for 24mm cups?** A: They will not fit in a 19mm.
