I have this cage holder mounted on a Trek Domane with two carbon fiber bottle cages, and they hold 24oz bottles really well and 26oz bottles fairly well on all smooth roads. It’s as wide as the saddle rails and doesn’t come down all that much. But BEWARE: I would also imagine you’ll need really nice cages because I ride the road with a tri bike and if I hit a couple bumps in the road my bottle will fall out.
