As a flyer, I'd recommend nothing less than an Estes F15-4 (keep that ejection charge SHORT!) or else a composite motor. You will also need to modify the mounting point of the nosecone parachute to make a more robust connection. The chute will EASILY rip away from the flimsy nosecone mount if you stick to the directions, and you'll risk destroying the nose (ask me how I know, this is the SECOND of these models I had to buy here....guess why). Otherwise it's a pretty stable flyer with the proper nose weight, and you'll get a lot of fun out of the kit. Review: Long time to finish correctly, but awesome rocket - Took many many hours to build. The painting was the hardest part. Lot's of masking tricks to master. Decals was also a challenge.
