I have never tried rollers before so I can't compare this to anything else, but I found these incredibly easy to use. I put them in when my hair was damp after a shower and left them in for a few hours to air dry. The snap-on clips held them in place perfectly. When I took them out, I had the most gorgeous, voluminous retro curls and my hair felt SO incredibly soft. I'll definitely be reaching for these instead of my curling wand from now on! Also my hair is about armpit length and I bought 3 packs but honestly could've used a 4th because I was a few rollers short and had to make do.
