Review: Worked on LGC9 OLED 👍 - Worked to allow me to disable local dimming on old LGC9 55inch .. this screen is only used as a computer monitor and is already set to fairly low OLED brightness, so being able to disable local dimming fully is essential for comfortable experience on PC . Obviously if using for PC monitor make sure you have set logical times for screensaver and screen off to engage when away from PC . As auto dimming is a screen protection feature after all ..
Review: Perfect - Worked perfectly, needed it to access the service menu on my LG C1 to deactivate the TSR that auto dims dark content and to deactivate the GSR which dims the screen from HUD elements in games. It’s a shame LG did not also roll out the update that fixed this issue on the CX and C1 but thankfully they did for the C2 and beyond.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this remote work with my LG G2 65"**
A: It works ok on the C8, C9 and CX
So i dont see why it wouldnt.
Do you need to access the service menu?

**Q: Anyone use this on there CX ? thx**
A: I used it on a C8 & C1 so should work ok

**Q: Can i use this remote to change smart tv region from uk to usa ? what button do i need to press ? thanks**
A: I don't know about the button but if it worked on the 2021 G1, it will work on any LG TV to enter the service menu and do whatever can be done by a professional. I read in a review that another user managed to change the region so probably yes. Please check the other reviews, including for the other, more expensive remote similar to this one, sold also on Amazon.

**Q: Does this work with the LG C1?**
A: Yes it does.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for accessing the hidden Service Menu on LG televisions.
*by C***. on 12 March 2024*

Feels solid enough, not slippy like a lot of the ultra glossy remotes. It's got all the necessary buttons (and loads more that I will need to research). It absolutely feels like more than £7 worth! And being able to sort my TV out has made it even more of a bargain.
