Great CD!!! *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 11, 2015* I had the privilege of meeting the late, great, Timi Yuro at her parents Italian restaurant in Hollywood, Alvaturno's. This was in about 1958. Timi had bolstered the restaurant's business by hosting talent shows (before Karaoke,) I got up on a dare from my friends and sang "Runaway," by Del Shannon. My voice broke on the high part of the Bridge! All my friends dove under the tables in mock distress! I was embarrassed, to say the least!Timi Yuro gives you more "bang for your buck," than any singer outside of Shirley Bassey. Her great big voice has a beautiful vibrato to it. She has the uncanny ability to sound just like Dinah Washington--whom she loved! It's indeed sad, that such a great talented woman with that great big, emotionally charged voice, had to succumb to throat cancer. Every song, on this 2CD set is a keeper. She could sing the phone book--and she would put feeling into it!
