I bought the 400 when it came out and the 600 when the 500 was no longer available. If size is important, I would try one at a guitar or music store. **Q: The sound hole looks oval, not a circle. But Yamaha has a very nice sounding and playing guitar here for a very reasonable price. The overall length and height is that of a regular full sized guitar however it is only around 3-3.25 inches thick compared to a lot of others that range close to 5 inches thick.
