Use a mild detergent if necessary. Use a brush to clean between the blade teeth if necessary. - Hand washing is recommended to prolong the life of the product. - If washed in a dishwasher, use the top rack only, as hot water can warp the suction pad and prevent it from working correctly. I hope it helps! **Q: I received this today, and have a granite countertop. i have tried everything to make the suction cup work, and it simply does not work at all?!?** A: Sometimes suction cups need to be dampened to stick better and form a seal. Try dipping your finger in some warm water and running it around the edge of the inside of the cup before placing it on the counter. If your granite is smooth (doesn't have to be shiny) and the cup is not warped, this should help. **Q: Does it turn cabbage into regular slaw? Lots of blade options, fairly compact, suctions well onto workbench, easy to use & clean. I didn't need to read the instructions to assemble & I haven't looked at any of all the ebooks that come with it. Seems good quality ie blade sharpness & longevity. Cuts through hard veggies easily. Only issue so far is white plastic discolours with beetroot & carrot shredding.
