Review: Good product for Wood finishing - Thanks for the fast delivery. Thanks shubham !
Review: A Must-Have for Oil Stains and Cost Savings - Allow me to share my experience with wood conditioner and dispel a common misconception. Despite my dad's claim that wood conditioner is unnecessary, I can confidently say he was completely incorrect. In fact, wood conditioner has proven to be an indispensable tool, particularly when dealing with oil stains, and it offers significant cost savings in the long run. Wood conditioner is a game-changer when it comes to treating oil stains on wood surfaces. It penetrates deeply into the wood, creating a protective barrier that prevents the oil from seeping in and causing unsightly stains. By applying the conditioner before staining, the wood surface becomes more receptive to the stain, resulting in a smoother and more even application. The end result is a flawless finish that truly showcases the beauty of the wood. Furthermore, using wood conditioner can save you money on stain in the long term. By pre-treating the wood surface with conditioner, it reduces the amount of stain required for full coverage. The conditioner helps the wood absorb the stain more efficiently, ensuring that every drop of stain goes a long way. This not only stretches your stain supply but also minimizes wastage and additional expenses. In addition to its stain-saving benefits, wood conditioner also enhances the overall durability and longevity of the wood. It nourishes the fibers, moisturizes the surface, and helps prevent cracking, warping, and other forms of damage. By keeping the wood in optimal condition, you'll save money on repairs and replacements down the line. I can confidently assert that wood conditioner is far from being for "chumps." It is an essential tool for anyone looking to achieve professional-level results while tackling oil stains. Its ability to save money on stain, enhance durability, and ensure a flawless finish makes it a must-have in any woodworking or refinishing project. So, don't be swayed by misconceptions—embrace the power of wood conditioner and witness the transformative effects it has on your wood surfaces. Trust me, you won't regret it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: The can says weathered oak but it is grey on the inside. Will the color change to oak once it drys**
A: When oak weathers.... it turns grey.

**Q: Do I need to apply a seal on top of the stain?**
A: Never got that far with the pint of Stain that
I received . The stain had no Brown in it for
a Fruitwood color.
But I would have applied a good sealer, like
Varnish or Polyurethane.

**Q: What are the steps? I’m no expert but I’m gonna try to make a coffee table. Sand, stain, then polyurethane?**
A: Sand only if needed first. Stain the wood in one direction only and in the direction of the grain. The directions will be on the can. You can wipe up the excess stain with an old towel. If you want a second coat, wait until it's dry. Then, when it's perfectly dry, put the polyurethane or varnish (your choice) on it. If you want a second coat of that, you can lightly sand the wood with 220 sand paper, wipe away the dust and then apply the second coat of the varnish or whatever you used. There's gloss, matte and satin finishes. All are nice. It's easy. It really is. Have fun! Again, the directions are on the can and easy to understand. Oh, and wear rubber gloves! The stain is hard to get off the skin!

**Q: would i need paint brushes or would rubbing it in with a rag work im planing on doing a diy guitar finish with it**
A: A clean cloth / rag works just the same as a foam brush and is cheaper. You can buy tee-shirt trimmings from most stores for this purpose. Another clean piece can be used for cleanup / wiping down the final finish to avoid excess soaking in. I avoid paper towels on anything but a test piece since the paper towel tends to shed residue into the finish.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lo mejor del producto es su fácil aplicación y lo bonito que resalta la madera.
*by C***N on 22 August 2025*

El mejor barniz que he usado es Minwax. Muy fácil y de aplicar con brocha de pelo de camello. Deja un acabado que resalta la veta de la madera como ningún otro barniz que he usado.
