From http://www.liveroyaldoulton.com/crystal/, both "finsbury" and "islington" are listed as lead-free explicitly, and the associated products are listed on the main page as "crystalline," just like this set. "Retro" products as well as "highclere" items are listed as "crystal" not crystalline (highclere is explicitly listed as 24% lead crystal on http://www.liveroyaldoulton.com/crystal/).As it turns out, this is a matter of regulation in the EU (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead_glass). Anything below 24% lead oxide MUST be labelled "crystalline," which means it could contain less than 24% lead oxide. Therefore, using just the Royal Doulton website, I can't find a definitive answer.
