A: You can feed anytime doesn't matter overall. Just don't foilar feed(spray) in direct light, do so at or after lights out(sunset).

I am not sure of the color but there should not be an oder.  All nutrients have a different color as most manufactures use a dye.  We only sell new, unopened product.
