I have a Toro R4 amp and I believe this is a perfect match for these subs. I've been trying to find something that was loud and sounded good in my mustang,but nothing quite seemed to sound great until I gave these subs a chance. Still breaking these subs in so I haven't turned up the power yet,but right from the get go, it was loud! I've never owned Skar products before,but these little subs are no joke. For some reason they hit low, I guess the box is perfectly matched, but I never expected such deep base from a pair of mid level 8's. I'm feeding the pair about 400w at the moment, so it'll be interesting when I match the output to their RMS rating of 700w (combined). Got these at a good price ($220) so if you can pick these up for a similar price, you will not be disappointed. Review: It is very heavy unit and looks awesome.
