It is of a moisturiser consistency and so isn't overpy thick and is easy to get on to wiggly little bottoms! Also leaves babys skin soothed and hydrated. I don't use it overnight as I want something thinker to leave a thick layer on for a longer period of time but for the daytime it is brill. It is kind to your hands as well and you don't end up a sticky mess if things go a little ary! Definatly reccomend.
