I didn't want to cover my box spring with a thin fitted sheet that would be a pain to remove my "2 ton" king size Tempur-pedic every time I wanted to launder it. This elastic loop type rap was the perfect solution. It was easy to install once the bedding was removed, just slipped right over the mattress. The material is well stitched and appears to be durable. The best way I can describe the material is like a thick bathing suit material, kind of like spandex. It fit perfectly snug after some lifting and tucking. If I had a thicker box spring it would be just fine because the wrap just extends onto the frame top, no horizontal seams. I got the Stone color. Dark overall. Thick fabric with a semi smooth texture with a fair amount of stretch factor. EASY to get on the twin, may be helpful if it is a bigger sized bed to have two people but I bet it is ok if you are alone..
