For the longevity of the item I would not put as much weight at a constant. **Q: Why is it not sturdy after I set it up** A: Make sure all your bolts are tight. also, it needs to sit on skid pads or it will slide across the floor if you bump it or do bob ross style painting. Mine is not as sturdy as I would like it to be either.
