It was in pieces. Crumbled. More like thin pewter. **Q: How long are they?** A: About 3". But a warning, the little "jewel" embellishments seemed to fall out quickly. Super glue will fix them, but just wanted to warn you. Still great for the price though. **Q: Are these safe to eat with?** A: It would take you a VERY long time to eat if you used them. They are extremely small. **Q: are these bronze/copper color or stainless/silver color?** A: They are more bronze colored. I would not recommend these, as the quality was quite low - at least the ones I received. The first and I wash them some sort of film and came off of the top of them - and they are not solid metal.
