**Q: How do you adjust the snare?**
A: It's not adjustable but by striking different ares of the cajon you can get different snare sounds at the edge it's more of a crack and the very center it's deeper ,also when it's flipped over you get.a great bongo sound I mount it on a snare stand closed tight

**Q: Is there a case for this?**
A: I think maybe it came with a bag but no case

**Q: is this for adults**
A: Yes, it is adult sized. It is a variation on a "laptop cajon" or "slaptop cajon". You can't sit on it (or play it no-handed) like a traditional cajon, but it is easier to play sitting up straight like many other types of hand drums. It has excellent sound quality.

**Q: Does Meinl make a travel case for this? Or, is there another recommended travel case on amazon someone could recommend?**
A: I don't know and anyway it can fit easily in any back pack, but overall i don't recommend it, its not comparable by any means to a traditional Cajon.

For a more rich or deeper sound add crumpled up news paper in the bongo side of the cajonAdd crumpled up news paper in the corners of the higher pitched side or snare side for richer more recordable soundKeep adding paper until the vibration disapates completely on both sidesDrums are the hardest to record in a studio, same rule applied for any procession instrumentThere are many different ways to play with this design in which I can appreciateComfort, reliable, simple, sound quality is adjustable with newspaper for more richer deeper toneMost important AFFORDABLE

I bought this for my husband. He loves it! It’s nice that he doesn’t have to bend over like he does with his cajon that he has now. Looks to be of good quality, nice and light weight compared to his traditional bongos. Now he needs a short drum mic to go with it for when he is playing with the band. The one side has 2 different tones for the bongo, and the other has a nice snare sound! Fun little instrument.
